It’s the second last day of the best month of learning ever. We all got our marks back for our test, and we all smashed it– “best class ever!”, Lydia our teacher, kept saying. We gave ourselves a pat on the back.
After class, we went to an Irish Pub called O’Kelly’s and watched Germany v USA in the World Footy Championships, but we were all so tired that we straggled off to bed afterwards for a snooze. Then we caught our second wind, and rocked the night away at the End of Term Party in Cohibar. Everyone was pumped, exuberant, sweaty, and happy.
Word of the day: Abschluss Party, meaning “Closing Party”– because, sadly, the end of this fabulous month, is so very very close.
