We all get more compassionate and kinder with age– that’s what I’m finding, anyway. Criticism gives way to patience. Judgement gives way to a more open mind. Wanting to prove yourself through work and exterior achievements gives way to suddenly realising the value of cultivated friendships. Pushing your parents away switches to one day realising that their hair’s gone grey overnight, they’re not as vital as they once were, and holy moly, they’ve done a lot for us.

It’s a beautiful thing, really. To be able to recognise the subtle transition that happens in all of us.

So here’s to extending kindness, warmth and compassion, and aging like fine wine 🙂

Have a wonderful Monday!
