Can somebody, anybody! explain to me how these magnificent trees in Hyde Park know that if they lean in far enough, they’ll eventually meet in the middle to form the world’s prettiest isosceles triangles? Anybody?

On the Magnificent 7 with Jonesy and Amanda on WSFM this morning, the first question of the quiz was: “What’s the name given to an angle that is more than 180 degrees?”. Sue from Tamworth was the first caller through and she repeated the question slowly, surely, thoughtfully– before confidently supplying her final answer: “Isosceles???”

Jonesy, Amanda and I all laughed gently in unison. Aww, she tried her best, dear old triangle-loving Sue did!
