After work today, we all caught the ferry to feast on a spicy, special Indian spread at Rose Bay’s favourite Indian joint “Jewel on the Bay”. One of the waiters flirted happily with Rachel (the babe in the centre) by deliberately caressing her hands as he demonstrated the usual length of a piece of garlic naan bread, while Noel brought out his alpha masculinity and kept the restaurant staff on their toes by chasing up our food and requiring them to clariffy right there and then, how our food was getting on. Of course, Noelle looked proudly on, as her man’s efforts had the desired effect of bringing our food out within seconds, while I sat there with my head in the clouds, pondering the fate of a stray pea that had rolled onto the table cloth.
We hoovered up our delicious food, before shuffling out of there with a free naan bread for which we wholeheartedly credit Noel and his commanding questioning– HERO.
