Mother Nature and her diamond rods of lightning– it was the crazy storm that rolled in, spun the rain sideways, and then just as quickly as it came, slipped into misty silence. I took this picture from the office window where we saw an umbrella-less girl sprint across the street, run out of one of her thongs, chase after it after it got blown into a strong rip (the gutters were about a metre wide with water), before she caught up with it, scooped it out and pelted for the awning.
