Today, we went to the Dough Collective after Kalo gave us her double-thumbs-up, glowing recommendation that made her ecstatically re-live it and us drool with ardent bread desire: “I had this bun the size of my head and it was full of chocolate– omigod, it was soooooooooo soft, the softest bread I’ve ever tasted”.
So, we entered, jostled with the pumping crowd and emerged: Noelle was mildly underwhelmed because there wasn’t any Oirish soda bread for as far as the eye could see, but chocolate bun– well, Kalo was 100% correct: it was the bestest thing in the store.
