Food World China Town! We shared spatchcock, cumin coated grilled eggplant, a whole steamed fish dressed with the yummiest chilli sauce and super soy saucey pad siew. Helen fearlessly gulped down the goobery bit around the fish eyeball explaining that “it’s the Asian way of eating fish, Margs!!” while Scottie informed us that “I just really want spatchcock, all of a sudden, I just REALLY want spatchcock- I’m gonna have all of it and you’re not gonna have any!”– he morphed into a chopstick wielding spatchcock destroying aggressor, and smacked his chopsticks together before declaring: “It’s not that good!”.
Afterwards, we went into a Korean shop and Helen owned the boater hat, while I pocketed some gold gypsy earrings, plugged them into my earlobes, and proceeded to trip magnificently on a carpeted set of steps. The two pretty Korean girls holding the shopfront fort giggled sweetly, while we shrugged: c’est la vie! and we bounced out onto the street.
